Harris Ships New HD/SD Serial Digital Legalizer
Harris Corp. has begun initial shipments of its new DL-860 HD-SD serial digital legalizer to several clients, including Henninger Media Services of Arlington, Va., and Post Asylum of Dallas.
Launched at NAB2006, the next-gen serial digital legalizer accepts all HD and SD formats, with flexibility for legalizing HD-SDI and SD-SDI signals. Harris
said the DL-860 output format tracks the input format, and the signal can be legalized to HD, SD, RGB and/or Encoded Color Space.
Cyclic Redundancy Code (CRC) values are monitored and recalculated for proper output values. Input equalization, added to the incoming video, is now displayed on the front panel. The DL-860 has the option to pass or blank all ancillary data without any alteration, except CRC correction. Operations are supported via Ethernet using the embedded Web server interface. The DL-860 also supports Leitch CCS Navigator control and monitoring software.
