Harman Pro Opens EMEA Sales Office

Harman Professional is opening a new sales office to serve the Europe-Middle East-Africa market.

Based in Potters Bar, England, the office will be led by Dave Karlsen, who shifts from being director of international sales for Harman Music Group to the new position of senior director of sales EMEA.

The new office comes after Harman opened new international sales offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, as part of a plan to deploy international field sales offices in all of its global territories.

Effective 1 July 2010, Karlsen will lead the team of sales professionals and application engineers and a newly launched EMEA order entry team. He reports to Scott Robbins, Harman Professional vice president of sales.
