Got a Boat? Grab HD via DBS
Raymarine Inc., a firm specializing in marine electronics, has introduced a product designed to keep mariners attuned to HD programs via satellite. The company's 45STV HD Satellite TV Antenna System is designed for DVB-TV receivers. The automatic, marine-stabilized antenna allows users to pull in HD from DBS provider DirecTV, beamed to wherever the vessels are located, according to the company.

Expanding on the original 45STV system introduced a year ago, the new system features a "dual low noise block" design that supports multiple receivers, allowing monitoring of other media (such as weather bulletins) while streaming HD in another location in the boat or ship.

The system's footprint is slightly more than 19 inches diameter and about 30 pounds.
