Gearhouse Opts for Harris Core Processing
Broadcast services provider Gearhouse Broadcast recently inked a contract with Harris Corp. for high-definition core processing equipment for use in its work on live events, including the 2008 Summer Olympics.

The equipment spans the Harris HD product portfolio, including 6800+ processing products and Zandar multiviewers.

"We were keen to use 'tried and tested' products for these upcoming high-profile sporting events," said Kevin Moorhouse, technical director of Gearhouse Broadcast. "Harris offered the best solution to meet our processing needs. Furthermore, the recent acquisition of Zandar by Harris provided us with an ideal opportunity to explore their expanded range of multiviewers, and we were able to select the multi-image display processors that were perfectly suited for these events."
