Fujinon Intros Pan/Tilt for Sony HD Camera
Fujinon this week introduced its new EPT-7G-H2A pan/tilt camera system, which was specially designed for Sony's HDC-X300 half-inch HD camera. When used with Fujinon's EOP-102J-60B four-head controller, it enables remote control over major features of the HDC-X300 -- including black and white balance, shutter speed, gain adjustment and color bars.
The pan/tilt system includes an RS-485 interface and a pan range of 300 degrees. It can pan at 25 degrees per second, and tilts at 20 degrees a second. Camera positions can be pre-set and stored before production begins, but all positions and the shot list can be adjusted as needed, once production begins. It features a load capacity of 8.8 pounds and a DC servo drive system.
As with previous pan/tilt models from Fujinon, the new EPT-7G-H2A features a low acoustic noise level; this model is only 40db.
