Fox has placed a multi-million dollar contract with Grass Valley for a comprehensive, high-definition K2 Media Server installation as part of ongoing enhancements to its file-based, HD network distribution infrastructure. This installation is the latest in a long line of Fox facilities that are based around Grass Valley server technology.
As a long time Grass Valley customer, several Fox facilities are already equipped with K2 servers, and several more are outfitted with Profile XP servers.
“Fox has a reputation for being ahead of the curve when it comes to technology implementation,” said Jeff Rosica, senior vice president of Grass Valley. “We are proud to be a valued partner to Fox, and appreciate their continued confidence in Grass Valley and our many products and technologies including the K2 server family.”
