Four New District Sales Managers for Harris Broadcast
Harris Broadcast Communications has appointed four new district managers to its North American sales team.

Syd Budhu has been named regional sales manager for Ontario, Canada, and is based in Toronto. Budhu joined Harris in 2005 as part of the video processing and distribution product management team, serving as product manager for the company’s master control and fiber product lines. He came to Harris from Report on Business Television, where he served as director of technology. He also has held technical positions at CHUM Broadcasting, CBC and Panasonic.

Bill Reinhart has been named regional sales manager for the N.Y. metro area. Previously, Reinhart was director of business development and regional sales manager for Miranda Technologies in the New York area. He has held similar positions at Pinnacle Systems and Chyron Corp.

Burt Young has been named regional sales manager for the southwestern portion of the U.S. central region and is based in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining Harris, Young was regional sales engineer at systems integrator Azcar Technologies. Young’s also worked for seven years as the North American sales manager for Ross Video and for 10 years in sales and marketing for Philips Broadcast.

Scott Rogers has been named regional sales manager for the Chicago, Ill., metro area. Previously, Rogers was regional sales manager for Miranda Technologies in the U.S. central region. He has held similar positions at SeaChange International and Snell & Wilcox.
