Four Blu-ray Titles Soar Over ‘Eagle Eye’ in Top 10
Newcomer “Eagle Eye” managed to stay atop the Top 10 Blu-ray sales charts for barely a week but was unceremoniously bumped by no fewer than four other films, including the current Blu-ray sales record-holder, “The Dark Knight,” in the latest tally.

Titles stubbornly staying in the scrum for the past several weeks include “Iron Man,” “Death Race,” “Wall-E” and “Serenity” (the Josh Whedon sci-fi feature film which was originally issued on standard DVD in 2005, and based on the highly acclaimed, albeit short-lived, “Firefly” series).

For the week ending Jan. 10, according to Rentrak:

1. “Pineapple Express” (Sony)
2. “Babylon A.D.” (Twentieth Century Fox)
3. “The Dark Knight” (Warner Bros.)
4. “Righteous Kill” (Anchor Bay/Starz)
5. “Eagle Eye” (Paramount)
6. “Bangkok Dangerous” (Lions Gate)
7. “Death Race” (Universal)
8. “Wall-E” (Disney)
9. “Iron Man” (Paramount)
10. “Serenity” (Universal)
