In last week's RF Report I described the FCC Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) regarding establishment of the broadcast satellite service (BSS) in the 17 and 24 GHz bands. The FCC has issued an Erratum correcting errors in the NPRM. Most of the changes fix typographical errors and some incorrect references and none appear to affect the technical items reported on in last week's RF Report. There were corrections regarding filing comments and comment deadlines, so if you or your organization plans to file comments in the proceeding, check the Erratum first.
