FCC Commissioners Speaking at CES
The DTV transition's timeline is likely to be a hot topic when FCC Chairman Martin and, separately, Commissioners Adelstein and McDowell speak at the Consumer Electronics Show. The convention began this week in Las Vegas.
The Consumer Electronics Association said Martin will join CEA President/CEO Gary Shapiro for a one-on-one addressing Martin's tenure at the commission, as well as challenges likely to confront the Obama administration and the consumer technology industry, including the digital television transition, cable compatibility and broadband. Martin's session is slated for Saturday afternoon at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall, N255-257.
That morning, Adelstein and McDowell are set to speak during a regulatory outlook session at 10:30 in the North Hall of the LVCC in N258.
CES ends Sunday.
