Dr. Akin Akinniyi Joins Dielectric Communications
Dielectric has hired Dr. Akin Akinniyi to head research and development efforts in its wireless communications division. Akinniyi's experience includes recent work at Norvus Broadband, a company focusing on WiMAX network opportunities in Africa; a career at Motorola designing base station transceivers; and leadership of R&D teams at NEC and Philips. He holds a master's degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin, a master's degree in mathematics from Purdue University and a doctorate in electrical engineering from Purdue.

“As we have seen many times during the past several decades, the nature of media broadcasting is continuing to evolve,” said Dielectric’s president, Garrett VanAtta. Dielectric is pioneering this change with an ongoing dedication to designing new transmission systems for mobile media and Akin's knowledge in wireless communication technologies and engineering management certainly is a welcomed addition to our team.”
