Downconverter slims down at Ensemble Designs
Ensemble Designs will come to IBC2007 to premier and demonstrate the BrightEye 92-A HD, a palm-sized downconverter for broadcast, sports and OB applications.
The product responds to industry calls for a downconverter with discreet AES and HDMI outputs. Some OB users prefer HDMI in the field for monitoring.
The BrightEye line of converters includes upconverters, audio embedders, TBCs and frame syncs. BrightEye units can be controlled through either front panel, or Mac and PC software access.
Based in Grass Valley, Calif., Ensemble Designs provides signal processing and infrastructure products to the broadcast industry. Ensemble’s key customers include CBS News, Sky, CNN and RAI.
Ensemble will be at Stand 8.390.
