| The Moxi Menu | |
Digeo has announced new features and enhancements for its main Moxi-brand HD DVR, including new online video services made available directly to users on Moxi's onscreen menu featuring YouTube, Netflix and Hulu, among other streamers.
Also, Digeo said streaming directly to a TV set is now made viable using new media server software (PlayOn from MediaMall Technologies) and the digital music-streaming service Rhapsody. The Moxi HD DVR has also added a new home automation feature (eControls) that allows the customization of a "home theater experience" by adjusting lighting and other options supported by Z-Wave.
For current Moxi owners, the new features are being made
available via a software upgrade at no additional charge.
The Moxi HD DVR features dual tuners and 75 hours of HD recording (up to 300 hours in SD).
