Dielectric Acquires Flash Technology

Dielectric Communications is getting into the lighting business. It has acquired Flash Technology from American Tower Corp. Purchase terms were not disclosed.
Flash Technology makes aviation obstruction lighting systems, with annual revenue of about $25 million and employs 83 people. Dielectric said it would continue to operate the Flash facility in Franklin, Tenn., run by Mark Joss, its executive vice president and general manager. He will report to Dielectric President Greg Langston.
