DG Systems Completes Network Upgrade
Digital advertising distribution provider, DG Systems has completed a major upgrade to its network. DG Spot Boxes--used by advertisers to electronically deliver ad spots--now connect more than 3,000 TV stations, cable systems and broadcast and cable networks to the DG network center.

The network distributes the media assets of advertisers through the Internet and via satellite. The Spot Box network features a secure firewall, multiple storage options and software that optimizes network performance.

Scott K. Ginsburg, CEO of DG Systems said that the he is already seeing network traffic increases thanks to the initial improvements. Ginsburg said this upgrade is the first step in a plan to further improve the DG Spot Box network. More announcements are slated for later in February.
