Conclave Convenes in Twin Cities


The Conclave, an "upper Midwest" broadcast professionals organization, will be holding its 34th annual Conclave Learning Conference, July 16–18 at the Sheraton South Hotel in Bloomington, Minn.

Sessions will be devoted to looks at varying formats, management & programming, new media, jobs & skills, and marketing. Comedy writer Pat Proft ("Naked Gun," "Police Academy" and "Hot Shots" movie series) will be involved in a session on humor.

Keynote addresses will come from Jeff Haley of the RAB, author Brian Jennings (on talk radio), broadcast consultant Valerie Geller (listener retention), programming consultant Kipper McGee (programming) and Chris Barron, founder of the musical group Spin Doctors.
