CNN Digital Network Sets Viewership Record
The CNN Digital Network set a record in November, attracting some 32.8 million viewers—the largest audience in its 11 years of operation. In doing so, it beat out both Yahoo News and the MSNBC Digital Network.

CNN Digital provides international, national and local news, and is available free of charge. In the process of reaching the record-setting number of users, the network registered more than one billion usage minutes in November.

The viewership figures for CNN Digital News came from Nielsen Online. Nielsen says that CNN Digital is also the only Web-based news and information service to break the one billion monthly usage minute figure.

The network is the recipient of the Edward R. Murrow, National Headliner and EPpy awards. The CNN Digital Network has been in service since 1995 and draws on the resources of CNN Worldwide and its partners.
