Clear Channel Radio Adds Multicasts to 15 Markets
Clear Channel Radio said 320 of its radio stations in 81 markets are set to air HD Radio multicast channels.

These additional stations represent the fourth wave of a larger launch begun in January 2006. The new channels will also be made available at the company's HD2 streaming site as they go live.

I normally hate little portable radios because they do not have the selectivity, sensitivity, or image rejection that I require. I am glad that my ipod does not have a radio in it. I am no Apple or ipod fanboy so I will be watching to see if a Zune will continue being something that you don't want to step in. I have a relative who owns a Jensen HD radio receiver with an ipod dock on top... I HATE that radio. When the HD-2 signal is lost it goes to the main analog channel - having the effect of someone tuning back and forth between stations with different formats. If Microsoft gets it right then it could be the redeeming feature on a dog of a product. What will battery life be like?
