Chyron Upgrades MOS
Chyron has launched Version 2.0 of its MOS graphics system.

The Media Object Server (MOS) integrates and links newsroom computer systems and broadcast production applications and equipment. Chyron MOS Version 2.0 streamlines newsroom workflow by providing a way to create graphics faster, simplify newsroom operations, expand playlist control functions and more.

Key features include the ability to create content using any version of the Chyron Lyric CG software both online and offline and having administrative control available from anywhere on the network. For the newsroom, a new one-stop "search and fulfill" menu speeds up news input, and an integration with Proximity adds new graphic ordering/fulfillment capabilities. On the production side, the graphics system has a new, configurable playlist play-out environment that supports Unicode rundowns.
