Chromatec Joins openGear
Michael Stevens & Partners (MS&P) Chromatec has partnered with Canadian broadcast product company Ross Video to expand the openGear terminal equipment platform. The Chromatec product focuses on a range of color in-picture audio metering and audio, video alarm systems.

MS&P's Chromatec joins other terminal equipment vendors in supporting the platform, including Telecast Fiber Systems, Cobalt Digital, Ward-Beck, Claratech, Broadcast and Multimedia Ltd., and Wohler Technologies.

openGear is based on an open-architecture, 2 RU modular frame, designed to accommodate up to 10 cards. Customers can select from a variety of cards supporting the openGear platform allowing facilities the freedom and flexibility to choose the best technology that fits their particular applications.

"We are confident that our Chromatec products will add diversity and value to the ever expanding range from openGear," says Mike Stevens, managing director of MS&P.

MS&P specializes in audio and audio-for-video products for the professional markets. In addition to the design, development and manufacture of the Chromatec ranges, MS&P also distribute products from manufacturers, Chord Professional, Junger Audio and RTW.
