CBS, GoldPocket Go Interactive
Couch potatoes can get active while watching TV using the live polls and trivia questions that CBS programs are providing.
CBS has teamed up with the interactive TV technology provider
GoldPocket to offer interactive programming that started with the Feb. 17 broadcast of the reality series "Survivor: Palau."
Other interactive features for future shows will include live chats and viewer polls, offering new alternatives for advertisers to promote their products and services, according to Goldpocket.
GoldPocket' customers include Time Warner, NewsCorp, Disney, Viacom, DirecTV and television networks, CBS, Fox, NBC, among others.
