Bustos Media Pays $21 Million for KTTA, KEJC
Bustos Media said the company would acquire Aztec Media Inc. and Maya Media, LLC, which own KTTA(FM) in Sacramento and KEJC(FM) in Modesto for $21.7 million.
Both stations broadcast the "Ke-Buena" format. For Amador Bustos, chief executive of Bustos Media, the purchase of KTTA and KEJC represents his re-entry to the California market and corporate headquarters.
The three principals of Aztec and Maya Media Juan Gonzalez, Amparo Perez-Cook and Angelica Balderas will stay in key executive positions within Bustos Media.
"This merger allows us to take our two stand-alone stations to the next level," states Balderas.
