Military To Roll Out Mobile IP Video
TelevisionBroadcast.com sister site, GovernmentVideo.com, reports that the U.S. military is developing a wireless IP video transport network.

VideoNEXT, a surveillance company based in Chantilly, Va., said it was joining forces with tech concerns Homeland Security Group International in San Diego, Calif., and IronForge in Houston, to introduce a new mobile wireless IP video solution with analytics.

The technology is said to have been demonstrated for the military, municipal SWAT teams, federal agencies and at private industry installations. Governmen Video has details.
