Blackmagic Design Appoints Alvin Lim Managing Director of Blackmagic Design Asia
Blackmagic Design has announced the appointment of Alvin Lim as managing director of Blackmagic Design Asia, effective immediately. Lim will be responsible for sales, business development, customer service and field support for all customers in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunai, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, East Timor, Burma, Laos, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal, Butan and Mongolia.
"Alvin's experience in the video market is extensive at all levels from retail to manufacturing. This, combined with his fluency in Mandarin and experience in dealing with Asia and the Pacific Rim region, made Alvin the perfect choice," said Jeromy Young, Worldwide Business Development, Blackmagic Design. "Alvin will help take Blackmagic Design Asia to new heights with his ability to lead sales and continue to improve customer service and support."
Lim holds a Bachelor's degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
