Harris Hires P. Harris Morris
Harris Corp. named P. Harris Morris to the newly created position of vice president of Software Systems in the company’s Broadcast Communications business. He will be responsible for the software, server, newsroom and editing businesses that manage digital media workflow.
Morris was previously chief strategy officer for the Thomson Learning Division of Thomson Corp. where he worked on international channel expansion and digital products. Before Thomson, he spent 13 years as a partner and vice president of business consulting firm, Bain & Co.
Morris earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia, and an MBA degree with a focus in operations and finance from the Harvard Business School. He will be based in Denver.
