Batesville Broadcasting is using a Marti Digital Cellcast remote unit for local football coverage and other remote events.

The unit is manufactured by Broadcast Electronics. Batesville owns WBLE(FM), WHKL(FM) and WJBI(AM).

The Digital Cellcast is a mixer and cell phone unit for wireless, remote broadcast in areas serviced by most wireless providers. It is now available in GSM and CDMA operation.

J. Boyd Ingram owns, operates and engineers the three stations. Ingram recently also took delivery of a BE FM-5T transmitter for WHKL FM's remote transmitter location troubled by power fluctuations; it was the company's first BE transmitter purchase.
