Avid Moves Closer to Boston
TEWKSBURY, MASS.: Avid Technology is moving its headquarters about 10 miles closer to Boston.

According to The Boston Globe, the video editing, storage and media management developer has signed a lease for three buildings in Burlington, Mass., northwest of Boston. The company is currently based in Tewksbury, about 10 miles further north.

The Globe described the lease for up to 200,000 square feet of space as “the largest lease transaction in the suburbs this year.”

Two of the buildings are on the Network Drive office campus and will be connected by a footbridge. A third building will be located in nearby Northwest Park.

The new location is near I-95/Massachusets Route 128, the Yankee Division Highway, the traditional dividing line between Boston’s inner and outer suburbs.

Does this mean they are growing, contracting, or staying the same in terms of staff?
