Avcom has tapped Patriot Antenna Systems to provide the company with its new master distributor.

Patriot is a manufacturer of receive-only, VSAT antennas as well as feeds, mounts, connectors, cables and test equipment.

"Avcom's analyzers compliment our transmit and receive products very well. By offering these units, it allows Patriot to be even more of a 'one stop shop' vendor," said Pat Piper, director of worldwide sales for Avcom.

Richmond, Va.-based Avcom makes products for the broadcast, wireless Internet, communications/cable TV, point-to-point microwave and surveillance markets.
