Armada Buys More Stations, This Time in Wisconsin and Michigan
Armada Media Corp. buys seven stations in Wisconsin and Michigan from Quicksilver Broadcasting.
The price was $8.5 million. It's the second recent deal for Armada, the company noted, after a purchase of six stations in Aberdeen, S.D. The company's chairman is former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson.
The stations are WJMS(AM) and WIMI(FM) in Ironwood, Mich.; WMAM(AM) and WLST(FM) in Marinette, Wis.; WAGN(AM) and WHYB(FM) in Menominee, Mich.; and WSFQ(FM) in Peshtigo, Wis.
W. Donald Roberts Jr. of Kozacko Media Services was broker.
