ARMA Draws Crowd
About 200 engineers attended the 4th annual convention of the American Radio Manufacturer’s Association in Columbia, Md. Earlier this week. Efficient audio file transfer and storage, proposed EAS event code changes, the digital transition and planning the studios of the future were among the topics discussed.
ARMA President Vince Fiola of Studio Technology is planning another show for next year in the Baltimore-Washington area. There are also tentative discussions of producing another regional show later this year, somewhere in the south, he said.
