APT Opens Brazilian Office
Strong demand for its products has led
APT to open an office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
"Over the past 18 months, APT has seen unprecedented demand from the South American market for our IP audio networking solutions," said APT Worldwide Sales President Jon McClintock.
According to McClintock, the new office in Rio de Janeiro will serve as a base for the delivery of sales and support to a rapidly expanding customer base.
A new APT appointment, Jonathan Corkey, will head the Brazilian office. A resident of Rio de Janeiro for a number of years, Corkey was previously managing director of Myriad Media.
"[APT] has aided many major and regional broadcasters around the world in implementing IP audio solutions for applications including studio-to-transmitter links and remote broadcasts, and I am delighted to be helping take this expertise to the South American broadcast market," Corkey said.
