AntonBauer Showcased New Stasis Flex at IBC2008
Anton/Bauer's Stasis Flex
Anton/Bauer displayed its new Stasis Flex power support system. The device is designed to reduce camera operator fatigue by redirecting the weight of the camera from the user's hand to his or her torso. As an additional benefit, it also ensures steadier shots.

The unit accommodates all camcorder models and no tools are needed to make adjustments in its configuration. It has "hard points" on the rear for mounting peripheral devices such as hard drives, transmitters or receivers.

The Stasis Flex may be used as a standalone unit, with Anton/Bauer's ElipZ mounting and supplemental lighting system, or with the company's Gold Mount unit for extending camera runtime and power external devices such as lights and recorders.
