Agovino to Work With Independents For Interep
Mike Agovino is the new co-president and -COO of Interep. Agovino will report to Interep Chairman/CEO Ralph Guild and continue to be based in Los Angeles.
Agovino's will build a new independent radio rep company within Interep and contribute to the company's new business development initiatives.
His counterpart is Interep co-President/co-COO George Pine.
Agovino most recently accepted a position as vice president and general manager for the Spanish Broadcast System in Los Angeles. Previously, he was president of Clear Channel Radio Sales.
"Mike understands the power of independent radio representation. Having him on board gives us an even stronger rep management capability to serve our growing list of independent radio station groups," Guild said.
