Zenith Electronics has created a simple
on-line video showing how to hook up a converter box.
While the video shows a Zenith DTV converter box, the instructions are basic enough that they should apply to most other boxes as well. Unfortunately, the video doesn't contain any information on how to adjust the antenna, or what to do if the pictures freeze or breakup.
I know that TV stations and networks are producing longer shows that deal with these topics. The one-hour video being produced by the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society and Iowa Public TV should give viewers more information about DTV and how to receive it. The Iowa Public TV program is scheduled to be completed next month and will be made available to other TV stations that want to use it.
