Crystal Vision has announced Playback, its affordable new instant replay offering. It is capable of replaying 30 seconds of HD video or 155 seconds of SD and is ideal for sports replay applications.
Playback supports industry standard software protocols (including VDCP), enabling it to be controlled from any third party hardware or software. Each device can either be controlled independently or together.
During coverage of sporting events, Playback will continuously record until something of interest happens. Once the user hits the stop button, the previous 30 seconds worth of HD video (or 155 of SD) is instantly available for replay.
According to Crystal Vision, the competitive pricing of Playback means it is now affordable to have replay functionality attached to every camera on the field for replay footage from multiple angles.
