Sachtler FSB Cell

The FSB Cell by Sachtler, a Vitec Group brand, is now available. This 7.2 V Li-Ion battery for MiniDV, DV and HDV cameras was introduced last year.
The FSB Cell's underside is shaped like a camera plate and can be fastened onto Sachtler's FSB fluid heads to ensure secure locking and optimised handling features for the cameraman through the battery's attached weight (1.43 lbs). By mounting the battery directly onto the fluid head the FSB Cell's weight increases stability and ensures smooth pan and tilt movement.
Using a corresponding adapter cable the battery can also be used to power cameras from Sony, Canon and Panasonic. Depending on the type of camera, it can operate up to eight hours. The FSB Cell also has an extended sliding range of 8.8 inches.
