San Jose Newspaper Reviews RCA Indoor Antenna

by Doug Lung, 09.12.2008

San Jose Mercury News writer Troy Wolverton discusses off-air TV reception with an indoor antenna in his article Tech Test Drive: RCA ANT1500 Flat Multidirectional Indoor Antenna. Wolverton lives in San Jose and has had problems with over-the-air reception.

He compares the $30 compact ANT1500 with a large $99 Philips indoor-outdoor antenna that he called "awful". He was surprised to find the lower-cost ANT1500 provided reception of about 10 channels, as compared with one intermittent channel when using the Philips antenna. He was also happy to find he didn't have to worry about how he positioned the RCA antenna.

A picture is available on the RCA ANT1500 Web page.
