Usually, covering a trade show and equipment exhibition means looking at lights, cameras, and distributed transmission technologies. But for TVB Editor Deborah McAdams, the 2009 NAB Show put her in front of the gear.

JVC was webcasting live from the exhibit floor throughout the NAB Show. While most of the programming on the JVC Pro Live Webcast from the Floor channel consisted of product demonstrations and interviews with company officials, several members of the trade press took part in the project.

Fellow Midwesterner Lee Thompson, national manager of marketing and communications for JVC, interviewed McAdams about the broadcast economy, Susan Boyle, TV stations’ Web sites and resolution.
